Fetch Veterinary is seeking a skilled and compassionate Overnight Emergency/ICU Veterinary Technician to join our dedicated team. As an Emergency/ICU Veterinary Technician, you will provide critical care and support to our hospitalized patients. This position offers an exciting and fast-paced environment where you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of pets and their owners.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency and critical care to patients in the ICU
• Administer medications and treatments as directed by veterinarians
• Monitor patient vital signs and response to treatment
• Perform diagnostic procedures and laboratory tests
• Assist with surgical procedures and anesthesia monitoring
• Provide compassionate care and support to pet owners during difficult times

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience working as a veterinary technician in an emergency or ICU setting
• Certification as a Veterinary Technician is preferred
• Strong knowledge of emergency and critical care procedures and protocols
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to remain calm and focused in stressful situations
• Flexibility to work overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Attention to detail and ability to multi-task
