Description:

As a Customer Service Representative, you are the frontline support for our local waste management operations. You will serve as the primary point of contact for residential and commercial customers in the Piedmont area, providing high-quality assistance by handling service inquiries, resolving billing issues, and ensuring our environmental solutions meet the needs of the community. This role requires a blend of problem-solving, empathy, and administrative precision in a fast-paced environment.

salary: $17.5 - $18 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM
education: High School

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Support: Manage a high volume of inbound calls and emails regarding waste collection schedules, service changes, and missed pickups.
  • Problem Resolution: Actively listen to customer concerns, research issues, and provide accurate solutions to ensure a "one-call" resolution whenever possible.
  • Logistics Coordination: Communicate with "on-the-road" drivers and dispatchers to relay instructions and confirm that special pickups or missed stops are completed.
  • Account Management: Enter new residential subscriptions, process payments, and update commercial service agreements in the database (Tower system).
  • Administrative Tasks: Assist with month-end billing, process refunds for approval, and maintain organized digital and physical customer files.
  • Sales Support: Identify customer needs and recommend additional services or equipment (like roll-off containers) that better suit their requirements.
