JOB DESCRIPTION

A client of Insight Global is looking for a qualified Commercial Drywall Estimator to work in the Greenville, SC area.

Job Responsibilities:

Pre-Construction

• Attend preconstruction (Guardrail) meetings

• Determines materials and quantities required for specific projects.

• Required to read and understand construction drawings and specifications.

• Perform material takeoff and provide accurate summary of materials required.

• Ability to research all products required to complete job, calling vendors when

needed.

• Determine safety requirements on the job.

Construction

• Have a working knowledge of the projects that are currently in process.

• Available to assist Project Managers with changes throughout projects.

• Urgency in assisting with change orders.

Travel

• Minimal but possible travel for training, meetings

Compensation: $70-85k + bonus structure

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• 2-5 years' experience estimating ceilings and drywall projects

• Knowledge of commercial or residential construction products preferred.

• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.

• Must be able to pass a background, drug, and motor vehicle check.

• Must be committed to working safely while accomplishing all tasks
