Location: Greenville, South Carolina
Schedule: 1st or 2nd Shift After Training

Position Overview

SkyBridge Aviation is seeking an experienced Production Hangar Avionics Technician F-16 to support aircraft production line electrical and avionics installation operations. This role is responsible for installing electrical harnesses, routing wiring, performing continuity testing, and completing soldering and termination operations on forward aircraft components in a production environment.

The technician will support harness build-up, perform operational checks, and troubleshoot electrical and avionics systems while working from schematics, engineering drawings, and technical instructions. This is a hands-on production role in a fast-paced aircraft manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install electrical harnesses and avionics components on aircraft production line assemblies
  • Build and route wire harnesses according to aircraft specifications and engineering drawings
  • Perform cable and wire termination, crimping, and soldering operations
  • Conduct continuity testing and operational checks
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical and avionics systems as required
  • Support general mechanical installs, testing, and inspections on aircraft components
  • Work from electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and written or verbal instructions
  • Operate OHM meters, crimping tools, soldering equipment, and routing tools
  • Record and report testing and inspection data in required format
  • Ensure all work meets safety, quality, and production standards
Shift Information

Must be able to work assigned shift after training

1st Shift: Monday through Thursday, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM
2nd Shift: Monday through Thursday, 4:30 PM to 3:00 AM

Minimum Qualifications

  • Must be able to work 1st or 2nd shift as assigned after training
  • Must have current aircraft routing, harness installation, harness build-up, termination, crimping, and soldering experience
  • Must be able to work in a production environment
  • Strong ability to read electrical schematics and wire harness prints preferred
  • Experience with cable and wire harness systems preferred
  • Avionics testing experience preferred
  • Experience with aircraft systems operation preferred
