We are seeking a Robot Operator to set up and operate robotic welders while maximizing efficiency and output. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and committed to quality.

Job Details

• Pay: $20/hr
  
• Shift: 1st Shift
  
• Schedule: Monday-Thursday 6:00am-3:00pm, Friday 6:00am-12:00pm

• Program and operate robotic welder according to drawing specifications
  
• Execute programs and monitor robot output as directed by Shop Supervisor
  
• Ensure parts meet tolerance standards and identify areas needing touch-up
  
• Maintain accurate inventory of parts
  
• Perform operator maintenance on the robot, including ordering/changing tips, liners, gas, and wire
  
• Notify Shop Supervisor of part quantities, fixture issues, or equipment problems

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints/drawings
  
• Strong technical aptitude and understanding of robotic welding software
  
• Commitment to quality, efficiency, and safety
  
• Team player willing to assist other areas when needed

• Always work safely and ensure coworkers do the same
  
• Operate forklifts safely (training provided)
  
• Wear required safety attire and equipment
  
• Maintain a clean, organized work area, including floors, shelving, and workstations
  
• Fully shut down robot and unplug tools/exhaust hoods before leaving
  
• Report defective tools or equipment to Shop Supervisor for repair or replacement
