JobTitle: Cook
The cook position at Tropical Grille is responsible forprepping ready to eat foods and cooking food to order. The individual will haveto have high quality food standards and be able to work in a fast-paced foodenvironment.
Responsibilities
o Responsiblefor cooking food to order
o Responsiblefor prepping ready to eat foods
o Responsiblefor the preparation of caterings
o Responsiblefor maintaining food quality, consistency, and freshness
o Responsiblefor putting away truck orders
o Maintaincleanliness of kitchen
Policy Adherence
o Cookposition is responsible for adherence to all guidelines and procedures setforth by Tropical Grille, including but not limited to:
§ Adherence to DHEC and Tropical Grillerules and regulations
§ Adherence to Tropical Grille Recipes
§ Communicating with management if helpis needed
§ Ensure proper rotation and labelingof food, FIFO
§ Any additional tasks assigned to orasked of them by management

o Knowledgeof food safe temperatures
o Basicknife skills
o Senseof Urgency and Speed
o Muti-taskingskills

o Abilityto stand for long periods of time and lift 50lbs

o One year restaurant kitchen experience

The Prepposition at Tropical Grille is responsible for prepping all cold food items(peppers, onions, cucumbers, cold backups, sauces, etc.) Must be able to setyour own pace and work well alone.

o Responsiblefor maintaining food quality, consistency, and freshness
o Responsiblefor preparation of sauces
