As a Yard Associate, you'll help customers receive landscape materials safely and efficiently while supporting daily yard and warehouse operations.
You'll operate forklifts, prepare materials, assist customers, and help maintain a clean and organized yard environment.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Service & Loading
- Verify customer orders before loading
- Operate forklifts to load materials such as mulch, sod, and bagged goods
- Assist customers with product questions and loading assistance
- Provide friendly and professional customer service
- Help prepare materials for deliveries
- Assist with warehouse and yard operations
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe yard environment
- Follow all safety procedures and operational guidelines
- Communicate clearly with coworkers in person and over radio
- Work safely around customers, vehicles, and equipment
- Support overall yard productivity and efficiency
We're looking for dependable, safety-focused individuals who enjoy physical work and working outdoors in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- Forklift experience required
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work safely around people and vehicles
- Positive attitude and team-focused mindset
- Experience operating wheel loaders, forklifts, or other heavy equipment
- Ability to lift and handle up to 70 lbs
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
