Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a CNC Programmer (NX CAM / Fast-Hole EDM) to join their team. As a CNC Programmer (NX CAM / Fast-Hole EDM), you will be part of the Manufacturing Engineering department supporting the shop floor operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, effective communication, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?

• Generate and maintain CNC programs utilizing NX-CAM or other software, focusing on fast-hole EDM drilling and multi-axis small hole drilling.

• Verify new CNC programs prior to release on the shop floor utilizing Vericut.

• Provide CNC-related support to Manufacturing Engineers and offer operator training during machine startup and process improvements.

• Support daily operator needs through CNC programming and troubleshooting support on the shop floor.

• Support and implement tooling and fixturing requirements associated with CNC machine tools.

What's Needed?

• Bachelor's Degree, Associate's Degree, or Machinist Apprentice graduate with 3 years of experience with graphical-based CAM System CNC Programming OR High School Degree with 6 years of experience in the same.

• Experience with Siemens NX CAM (1953 or later) is preferred.

• Hands-on experience with Fast-hole EDM drilling.

• Proficiency in generating toolpaths, creating helper geometry, and extending existing macros with FANUC Macro B.

• Strong understanding of CMM/metrology concepts, basic probing routines, and ability to interpret drawing requirements.
