Description:

Food Service Coordinator

Coordinates patient and caf foodservice, including preparation and production of food items along with ordering and stocking. Has good communications skills and able to work with customers and employees.

Minimum Requirements

Education

  • HS Diploma

Experience

  • 5 years restaurant experience
  • 1 year management/supervisory experience

License/Registration/Certifications

  • Manager Serve Safe Certification

Core Job Responsibilities

  • Ensures that room service line and caf are set and ready for production.
  • Must be able to supervise and lead by example.
  • Must be able to do multiple tasks.
  • Dietary training

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to work 8-hour shifts, standing, lifting, walking, stooping and bending.
  • Must be able to lift 40 lbs. during shift.
  • Must be able to make accurate decisions clearly and quickly in a busy environment.
  • Must be able to communicate well with customers and cope with their problems and demands in a positive manner.
