Our automotive manufacturing client is seeking a dynamic senior project leader with expertise in IT governance and systems development. This role offers an opportunity to drive impactful change and engage with cross-functional teams while enjoying the flexibility of a hybrid work environment.

The pay rate for this position is: $70.00 per hour plus overtime, paid time off days, annual production bonus & relocation assistance! (AllTech Systems Inc. has optional healthcare, dental and 401K plans for contract employees! We pay half of the premiums of our healthcare insurance for our contract employee! **Spouse/children extra)

Position type: 12 month contract (high chance of renewal every 12 months)

Position start date: January 1, 2025 - approved through December 31, 2025

Location: Greenville, SC

Work flexibility:

  • 70% work-from-home flexibility.
  • Onsite availability required 1-2 days per week.

Job Description

Role overview: As the IT Technical Project Lead II, you will play a pivotal role in leading and moderating the Change Review Board. Your primary responsibilities will include hosting meetings, facilitating presentations, and fostering collaboration across multiple departments to drive impactful IT solutions. This role is ideal for a highly organized and effective communicator with proven experience in project leadership and a collaborative mindset.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead and moderate Change Review Board meetings, ensuring seamless communication and alignment across departments.
  • Plan, analyze, test, and design IT solutions, driving efficient and effective results.
  • Engage in systems analysis to optimize and refine IT processes and solutions.
  • Encourage a team-oriented, collaborative environment to achieve project goals.

Must-have qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Science, Business, or equivalent 4+ years of experience in an IT application or infrastructure role.
  • 3+ years of experience in IT governance, systems development life cycle, and systems analysis.
  • Proven project leadership experience in an IT setting.
  • Proficiency in moderating meetings and leading collaborative discussions with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong communication skills with a team-oriented approach.

Nice to have:

  • Experience in Agile Master environments.

Additional information:

I. Position purpose/scope: What are the key objectives of the position?

Leads the holistic implementation of requirements from various business initiatives in an international environment. Designs and develops IT architecture, technical standardization, the follow-through of non-functional requirements, the IT concept and the technical specification, the allocation and control of development, software quality assurance, and the acceptance and integration of solutions into the client's application landscape.

II. Position responsibilities/accountabilities: List the major duties/accountabilities to achieve the positions key objectives.

Ensures the sustainability of IT in domestic and international locations.

Ensures that IT systems are available for the business processes at client's, and develops them continuously.

Achieves overall optimal solutions by working closely together with teams of specialists for business processes, IT technologies, IT processes and project managers.

Manages multiple project and initiatives simultaneously as needed. Navigates an international environment, networks with a broad range of departments and partners.

Steers external partners to ensure that the appropriate resources required for project and maintenance build support are secured and delivered. Offers solution-oriented advice for projects in the planning and control of the solution build space. Includes securing operational, cost-and risk-optimized IT architecture, as well as the definition of IT technical requirements within the project.

Plans and is responsible for the maintenance of solutions and further development when necessary.

Performs other duties as assigned by Client's MC Operations Supervisor.
