Project Manager - Mechanical Construction

Overview

We're hiring a Project Manager to manage mechanical construction projects from start to finish. Ideal candidates have 2-5 years of mechanical project management experience, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to delivering projects safely, on time, and on budget.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate mechanical projects from conception to completion
  • Order materials/equipment, issue subcontracts, manage RFIs, change orders, and submittals
  • Maintain knowledge of project scope, contracts, and general conditions
  • Plan ahead to prevent and resolve project issues
  • Estimate and sell projects (plan/spec, design/assist, design/build)
  • Oversee fabrication shop work packages, material take-offs, and man-hour budgets
  • Collaborate with Safety Department to manage risks and ensure compliance

Qualifications
  • 2-5 years mechanical project management experience
  • Bachelor's in construction management, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of HVAC and piping systems, building products, and construction practices preferred
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Project, P6, and construction management software preferred
  • Strong leadership, time management, and problem-solving skills
