Reeves Construction Company is currently seeking an individual for the position of Asphalt Paving Lead in Duncan, SC. The successful candidate for this role will have an uncompromising focus on safety excellence. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Including, but not limited to: Assist in scheduling of field activities, subcontractors and crew members. Inspect work performed to ensure it meets specifications and is on schedule. Will direct and supervise the activities of the crew in the performance of their regular duties in the crew foremans absence. Assist with analyzing construction equipment needs and trucking requirements. Maintain daily records of all significant project facts, crew timesheets, events and conditions. Assist with the instruction and training of employees and ensure the safety of the workers. Supervises all phases of a paving operation such as maintenance of equipment, employees, and distribution of product.
