Job Details

Responsible for the overall management of the histocompatibility laboratory. Responsible for clinical consultations as well as involvement in the development of technical protocols for clinical testing including HLA typing (SSP, q. PCR, NGS), crossmatching (flow cytometry), solid phase HLA antibody testing among others. Responsible for the quality of operations and services provided by the histocompatibility laboratory, including the responsibility for reviewing and overseeing all technical aspects of the laboratory. Directs technologist staff and is responsible for the design, implementation and review of all technical processes that involve the histocompatibility lab. Responsible for personnel management, exemplary customer service, development, implementation and monitoring of testing, staff training and evaluation and budget management.
