REPORTS TO: Director of Technical Sales

Employment Type: TEMP to PERM

Location: Greer, SC

Position Summary

Administrative Assistant will provide administrative and operational support to ensure efficient functioning of the office. Responsibilities include managing office operations, supporting daily processes, maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information, coordinating events, preparing documentation, and assisting executives as required. The role requires strong organization, communication, and multitasking ability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to ensure efficient office operations and assist department heads as needed.
  • Answer phones, greet visitors, and maintain professional communication via phone, email, and mail.
  • Manage overall office maintenance, organization, and upkeep.
  • Prepare, maintain, and manage confidential correspondence, files, and records.
  • Support executive activities including presentations, scheduling, meeting coordination, and note transcription.
  • Use computer and various programs to generate reports, transcribe minutes from meetings, create presentations.
  • Plan and execute office events such as holidays, luncheons, and employee activities.
  • Coordinate employee office set-ups, clean out vacant offices.
  • Manage office supplies and purchasing needs.
  • Assist with special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent education required.
  • Associates degree in Business Administration or equivalent combinations of training and/or related experience.

Experience

  • 3+ years of administrative assistant experience
  • Knowledge of office management systems and procedures

Skills & Competencies

  • Working knowledge of office equipment, like printers and fax machines
  • Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, in particular)
  • Excellent time management skills, ability to prioritize work, and work with little supervision
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
