We are seeking a Senior Sourcing Specialist to lead the full lifecycle of quoting, supplier strategy, and project transition for complex Heavy Haul transportation projects.

This role serves as a strategic partner to Business Development and Operations, delivering market-competitive proposals and ensuring operational readiness for successful execution. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with deep Heavy Haul sourcing expertise who thrives in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & FUNCTIONS:

RFQ & Sourcing Leadership

• Lead end-to-end RFQ processes for Heavy Haul transportation projects
• Develop sourcing strategies using market intelligence and historical data
• Run bids from initiation through execution, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness
• Analyze pricing and services to support supplier selection
• Prepare and present customer-ready proposals and recommendations

Supplier & Project Management

• Manage supplier communications, awards, pricing, and scope changes
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships
• Support supplier performance management and continuous improvement

Project Transition

• Lead internal project handoff meetings with cross-functional teams
• Participate in customer and supplier kickoff calls
• Support sourcing activities through project execution and closeout

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree preferred; Supply Chain focus a plus
• 10+ years of experience in logistics sourcing, Heavy Haul, or project management
• Strong experience with RFQ processes, supplier negotiation, and contract management
• Proven ability to analyze data, assess risk, and make strategic decisions
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
