You will manage the client relationship, build trusted partnerships, shape analytics programs, and work closely with technical teams to deliver measurable business value. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable engaging executives, collaborating with engineers and data scientists, and operating as a trusted advisor who turns ideas into high-impact analytics initiatives.

A little about E Source:

Headquartered in Boulder, CO, we have teams across the US and Canada. Learn more at www.esource.com.

How you'll help:

Client leadership and relationship management

  • Build trusted, long-term relationships across executive, operational, and technical stakeholders.
  • Establish credibility as a strategic adviser across analytics, reliability, operations, and customer programs while representing client interests internally and E Source capabilities externally.
Strategic engagement and opportunity development
  • Identify and shape analytics, AI, and data science opportunities by leading discovery conversations and translating business needs into actionable programs and multiyear account roadmaps.
  • Partner with sales and product leadership on renewal and expansion strategies.
Program and delivery leadership
  • Guide engagements from concept through delivery and adoption, working closely with data science, engineering, GIS, and product teams.
  • Align expectations, priorities, and timelines while anticipating risks and maintaining delivery momentum through effective governance and executive updates.
Content and communication excellence
  • Develop and deliver high-quality client materials, including executive presentations, strategy decks, status reports, business cases, and workshop content.
  • Translate complex technical concepts into clear, compelling narratives for senior audiences.
Internal leadership and collaboration
  • Own a high-visibility, top-tier utility relationship with meaningful strategic and delivery responsibility.
  • Act as the internal lead across cross-functional teams, fostering strong collaboration, mentoring engagement staff, and promoting best practices in client success, delivery, and analytics adoption.
What will make you a great fit:
  • 10+ years of experience leading client engagements in consulting, utility operations, or analytics services, with direct experience working in or serving large electric utilities, and the executive presence to build credibility quickly across senior stakeholders.
  • A proven track record as the primary relationship owner for complex, multistakeholder programs, with the ability to pair strategic thinking with hands-on execution from shaping strategy through delivery and long-term client outcomes.
  • Strong understanding of how analytics and data science initiatives are conceived, delivered, and operationalized, with the communication skills to translate business goals into clear, compelling, analytics-driven solutions.
  • Experience in consulting or professional services environments supporting large, multiyear client programs, with a relationship-driven mindset and strong attention to detail.
  • Comfort working with modern data platforms and cloud-based analytics environments, combined with curiosity and enthusiasm for analytics, data science, and emerging technologies.
  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
What you can expect:
  • Excellent insurance options, including medical, dental, and vision plans; company-paid life insurance; company-paid long- and short-term disability insurance; and medical and dependent-care flexible spending plans.
  • A flexible time off (FTO) program where you can take as many paid days off per year as they need, with manager approval, while fulfilling their work obligations and ensuring proper coverage of their responsibilities.
  • Flexible schedules, flexible work locations, and a paid parental leave benefit.
  • A 401(k)/RRSP plan with a 3% employer match.
