Calibration Technician

The Calibration Technician will work on-site to calibrate a variety of test and measurement equipment. The successful candidate will have experience in one or a combination of disciplines including mechanical, electronic, physical/dimensional. This role will be based out of our Greer, SC location.

Responsibilities

  • Calibration of electronic, mechanical, dimensional and/or physical measuring and test equipment such as:
    • AC/DC Low Voltage (multimeters, oscilloscopes, power meters, voltage calibrators etc.)
    • Scales/balances, force gauges, micrometers, torque wrenches
    • RF Frequency measuring and Generating Devices (spectrum analyzers, frequency generators, FR counters)
    • Temperature & Humidity devices (thermometers, pressure gauges, other gauges, data loggers, hygrometer, environmental chambers, ovens)
    • High Voltage Generating and Measuring equipment (Hipot tester, Meggers, Insulation testers)

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • 3 5+ years of electronic or mechanical calibration experience or relevant experience with a high school diploma (or equivalent) and/or a combination of experience and education
  • Previous experience in electronic, mechanical and/or physical equipment calibration, either in a Calibration lab or in house; the successful candidate should have experience in at least one discipline
  • Commercial or Military experience acceptable
