Job Description

As our Yard Associate, you will play a critical role in supporting Landscapers Supply's ability to serve our customers with high efficiency. Your role is to help in assisting landscape materials to our customers. You are assisted with loading of our trucks by our Yard Equipment Operators. The key to your success is your ability to be productive and follow Safety guidelines. Forklift experience is Required. You also need good communication skills and customer service skills. Generally, you are the last person that our customer has contact with, so your friendly interaction and respect for their property will be remembered.

Responsibilities

Verify that the load matches the order before the customer leaves the store

Operate a Forklift to load landscape materials such as mulch, or sod

Load bagged goods for our customers

Assist customers when asking about product

When not driving, Assist in the yard and Warehouse

Great Customer service skills are required

Required Qualifications

Ability to have positive and friendly interactions with customers

Ability to have clear communication with colleagues in person and over radio

Ability to work steady and safely around people and vehicles

Desired Qualifications

Experience working with a wheel loader, Forklift

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift and handle up to 70 lbs.

Ability to work outside in all weather conditions
