PrideStaff - Greenville is seeking a mechanically inclined and responsible Thermal Spray Booth Operator on behalf of our client in the Fountain Inn, SC area.
As a Thermal Spray Booth Operator, you will be responsible to operate and maintain the thermal spray booth (using techniques like HVOF and APS). The right candidate must be committed to precision, safety, and equipment maintenance in a dynamic environment.

Thermal Spray Booth Operator Primary Responsibilities include:
Your main responsibility is the precise operation of the thermal spray booth, ensuring high-quality application and material integrity.

• Booth Operation: Operate the spray booth using HVOF, APS (Atmospheric Plasma Spray), and other thermal spray techniques.
• Part Handling: Load and unload parts for thermal spraying safely and efficiently.
• Parameter Setting: Set and adjust spray parameters precisely as per technical work instructions.
• Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting of the thermal spray equipment.
• Technical Interpretation: Interpret technical drawings and comprehend complex spray patterns to ensure accurate coverage.

Thermal Spray Booth Operator Desired Skills and Experience include:

• 1 year or more of machinery operation in which you are making precise adjustments and maintenance.
• 1 year or more of work with hand tools and power tools.
• Mechanically inclined with strong aptitude for machinery operation and maintenance.
• Strong attention to detail is required for setting precise spray parameters and interpreting drawings.
• Dependable and responsible work ethic, demonstrating excellent punctuality.
• Flexible and willing to adapt to the needs of the production schedule.
• Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a production team.
