The Residences at Greer , a division of Medical Services of America, Inc., currently seeks an experienced Full Time Administrative Assistant for our team and residents in Greer, SC.As a member of the facility's management team the Administrative Assistant is responsible for performing the business-related functions of the Community and for assisting the Executive Director with duties as needed.What You'll Do:Ensures facility records are maintained in an accurate manner and in accordance with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, including resident, personnel and administrative records.Performs all needed accounts payable functions at the community.Oversees all supply purchasing to ensure expenses are maintained within the budgetary guidelines.Provides the Executive Director with routine reports and other requested information as needed.Assists the Executive Director with marketing and public relations tasks; assessment and service planning activities; resident move-ins and move-outs; and/or the coordination of resident services as needed.Reports any suspected resident abuse to the Ombudsman, adult protective services, DHEC, and the resident's responsible partyProvides administrative and on-call coverage for the Executive Director as needed.Performs all other tasks as requested.QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED requiredMust be at least 19 years of ageAt least 2 years of college education preferredPrevious supervisory/management experience preferredDesire to work with the elderly in an environment that upholds their privacy, dignity, choice, independence, and individuality.Good oral and written communication skills and the ability to work well with others.Ability to maintain financial and other records with an attention to detail, providing needed information as requested.Strong communication skillsProficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, with the ability to learn customized programs quicklyAbility to provide oversight and supervision in an effective manner.Ability to make good judgements,Professional appearance and demeanor.Current First-Aid CertificationGeneral staffing requirements: free of communicable disease; criminal record clearance; general understanding of the needs of the elderly; willingness to learn; able to physically and mentally perform tasks, as verified by a health screening that indicated TB clearance; ability to read, write, and understand EnglishWe offer competitive pay and excellent benefits:· Generous paid time off· Medical/Prescription, Dental & Vision Insurance and other benefits (STD, LTD, Accident & Sickness, additional life insurance, etc.)· Company paid employee life insurance· 401(k) retirement with a generous company match· Opportunities for advancement· Many other great benefitsMSA is an Equal Opportunity EmployerVisit us at www.MSAhealthcare.com
