Role Summary
The Director, International Tax leads Anuvu's global tax strategy, compliance, and planning efforts across all international operations. This role is responsible for overseeing cross-border tax matters, managing global tax risk, and partnering with senior leadership to support business growth, mergers and acquisitions, and global expansion initiatives. The Director ensures full compliance with evolving international tax regulations while driving tax-efficient business solutions aligned with organizational objectives.

What You'll Be doing
Leadership & Strategy
- Develop and execute the company's global international tax strategy in alignment with overall business objectives
- Serve as a trusted advisor to the Chief Accounting Officer, executive leadership, and key stakeholders on international tax risks, opportunities, and structuring alternatives
- Oversee international tax compliance, including foreign income tax filings, withholding taxes, VAT/GST, and other indirect taxes
- Ensure accurate and timely U.S. international tax reporting (e.g., Forms 5471, 8865)
- Lead international components of the global tax provision process under ASC 740, including foreign tax credit analysis, GILTI, FDII, and uncertain tax positions
- Maintain strong internal controls and documentation to support audits and regulatory requirements
- Manage international tax audits and controversies with foreign and domestic tax authorities in coordination with local country tax providers
- Lead transfer pricing strategy, including policy design, intercompany agreements, and documentation; coordinate with external advisors on annual compliance efforts
- Evaluate and structure cross-border transactions, supply chains, and intellectual property arrangements to optimize global tax efficiency
- Monitor and assess the impact of global tax developments, including OECD BEPS initiatives and Pillar Two/global minimum tax
- Provide tax leadership for international aspects of M&A transactions, restructurings, and post-acquisition integrations
- Identify and proactively manage global tax risks, exposures, and opportunities
- Lead, mentor, and develop tax team members while managing relationships with external advisors

What We're Looking ForRequired Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Tax, or a related field
- 10+ years of progressive international tax experience in a multinational corporate environment and/or public accounting
- Deep technical expertise in international tax, including foreign tax credits, permanent establishment, transfer pricing, and withholding taxes
- Extensive experience with U.S. international tax reporting and global tax compliance
- Proven ability to lead teams, manage complex projects, and influence senior stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications - CPA, Master's in Taxation, JD, LLM (Tax), or equivalent professional certification
- Experience leading global tax functions in a multinational organization
- Strong familiarity with OECD BEPS, Pillar Two, and global tax reform initiatives
- Experience with tax provision and compliance technologies (e.g., OneSource, SAP, Oracle, Alteryx)
