Job Purpose

The beautiful Residence Inn/ SpringHill Suites Downtown Greenville is seeking a Breakfast Attendant. The purpose of the Breakfast Attendant is to prepare and serve food and/or beverage items in a friendly, courteous and timely manner resulting in guest satisfaction.

Essential Job Functions

• Ensure guest satisfaction through dining room cleanliness and attention to guests' needs.
• Thoroughly and correctly sets up the assigned workstation prior to opening and cleans the station at the end of shift according to Auro and the Franchisors operational policies and standards to ensure guest comfort and satisfaction.
• Completes all necessary side-work as per breakfast schedule.
• Knowledgeable about all food items, their garnish, contents, and preparation methods.
• Answers guests' questions regarding such with confidence and accuracy.
• Is aware of all daily food items and beverages.
• Greets guests promptly at the table.
• Check all food items before serving to ensure that appearance, temperature, and portions are correct.
• Serve breakfast promptly according to service standards. Returns as appropriate to ensure all of the guests' needs are being met.
• Pre-busses and busses all tables as per brand standards and prepares for future guests.
• Notifies the manager of all food and beverage supplies needed to ensure the efficient operation of breakfast.
• Has working knowledge of property and all facilities to respond to guest questions effectively.
• Possess a strong knowledge of service standards and etiquette.
• Learns guests' names and uses them to address them. Remembers regular guests' favorite food items.
• Must be available for the early morning breakfast shift and manager receptions in the evening, including weekends.

Experience/Education

High school diploma or general education degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
