Structural Welder / Fitter - Shipyard

$28-$30/hr + $150/day Per Diem

We're hiring Structural Welders / Fitters for shipyard fabrication and ship repair work in Philadelphia. This is steady, direct-hire work with full benefits and daily per diem for experienced welders who want long-term stability in a marine environment.
What You'll Do
- Perform structural welding and fitting on heavy steel components
- Read and work from blueprints and layouts (marine experience a plus)
- Assemble plate, stiffeners, frames, and large structural panels
- Use grinders, torches, and standard fabrication tools
- Work in fabrication shops, yard production, and dry dock areas
- Follow hot-work safety procedures and keep work areas clean
- Experience with structural steel welding and fitting
- Ability to read blueprints (marine preferred, not required to apply)
- Shipyard, marine, or heavy industrial fabrication experience strongly preferred
- Willingness to complete a weld test and blueprint test after interview
- High school diploma or GED
- $28-$30/hour
- $150/day per diem
- Quarterly bonus
