Facilities Services Associate

Description:

The Facilities Services Associate supports the overall cleanliness, safety and functionality of the facility. This role is responsible for performing routine janitorial tasks, and light building maintenance projects. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces.
  • Clean and restock restrooms, including replenishing supplies.
  • Empty trash receptacles and recycling bins throughout the building.
  • Maintain floors by stripping, waxing, and buffing as needed.
  • Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the Facilities Manager promptly.
  • Follow proper procedures for handling cleaning chemicals and equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Assist with special cleaning projects and seasonal tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous janitorial or custodial experience is a plus.
  • Ability to operate cleaning equipment and use cleaning chemicals safely.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Prolonged standing, walking, bending, and reaching.
  • Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in various conditions.
Compensation

The position has a compensation package inclusive of base, bonus (if eligible), benefits, 401k contribution, time off, recognition awards and more. This hourly rate is $18-$23.
