Chipton-Ross is seeking an Avionics Technician for an on-site contract opening in Greenville, SC.
REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to work Monday- Thursday 1st or 2nd Shift: 1st 6:00am- 4:30pm or 2nd shift 4:30pm- 3:00am,
Shift is assigned once training is completed.
Must be able to start March 9th, 2026 no other dates accepted.
Must have :
Current Aircraft routing, Harness install, harness build-up, Termination/Crimping, and Soldering experience.
must be able to work in a production environment
RESPONSIBILITIES
You will be the Production Hangar Avionics F-16 Technician for the Lockheed Martin Greenville Production Team. Our team is responsible for production line, installs of electrical harnesses/wires, continuity testing, and soldering/termination operations on the Fwd Components.
As the Production Hangar Avionics F-16 Technician you will be responsible for building electrical harnesses/components, routing various wire/cables, Terminating cables/wires, and performing operational checks. You may also be required to troubleshoot and repairing electrical and avionics systems based on area assigned. Will sometimes perform other duties such as general mechanic installs, testing, and inspections on the F-16 production line.
This position provides support by installing electrical harnesses and performing operational checks, troubleshooting and repairing electrical and avionics systems on aircraft components/. Works from schematics, engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions. Operates related equipment OHM meters, Crimping, Soldering, general routing tools; conducts tests and reports data in prescribed format
