Job Description:

As a Buyer/ Planner, the successful candidates will workindependently as well as alongside the team to support Infintium's Power Cellproduction for existing and new products. Must be capable of setting andmeeting goals reliably, with limited oversight, as well as collaboratingheavily with the Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, and Accounting teams. Therole is perfect for an experienced supply chain professional looking to gainhands-on experience in a small company environment.

Essential Job Functions:
• Recommendand release direct material purchases based on forecast, actual demand,production build, and existing inventory
• Sourceand qualify suppliers, negotiate/write supply agreements, while ensuring thesupplier's ability to meet production requirements and quality expectations
• Monitorinventory levels for materials and place orders in a timely manner in order tomeet the production schedule
• Participatein cross-functional teams to ensure the continuous, on-going improvement ofprocesses, methods, productivity, and quality, while reducing costs
• Remaincurrent in technology, commodities, and changes in market conditions
• Participatein the introduction of new materials, including verifications on productquality, cost, delivery time, payment terms, and customer service
• Reviewnew BOM releases and engineering changes, and participate in design review andproduction meetings to provide any relevant information or updates
• Maintainrequired information in SAP (including pricing, lead-times, and MOQ)
• Coordinateproduction workflow for one or multiple products
• Determinemanpower, equipment, and raw materials needed to cover production demand
• Monitorjobs to ensure they will finish on time and within budget
• Addressissues when they arise, aiming for minimum disruption
• Obtainoutput information
• Prepareand submit status and performance reports
• Look forand develop proposals recommending solutions to improve inefficient supplychain processes

Requirements/qualifications:
• Bachelor'sdegree (B.A., B.S.) from a four-year college or university
• 1-3 yearsof experience in a manufacturing environment in buying/planning
• Familiaritywith an ERP system such as SAP, NetSuite, or Oracle
• Demonstratedanalytical, communication, and negotiation skills
• Abilityto work within a cross-functional team environment and use a holistic view ofthe business needs to achieve a common goal
• Proficiencywith Microsoft Office Suite, especially with certain Excel functions
• Strongproject organization skills and ability to maintain timelines

Additional desired skills:
• Buyingexperience in metal fabrication, plastic, and electronics industry preferred
• Familiaritywith purchasing targets for cost, quality, and delivery to achieve Companytargets
• Experiencewith cost reduction or continuous improvement projects
• Previousexperience in a start-up company's supply chain organization
• Demonstratedmechanical assembly aptitude and process understanding
