Job Summary
The Production Maintenance Technician I will complete required PM's and perform repairs on the client's facility equipment as directed by the Site Leadership. This position will utilize a "flow to the work" concept. The successful Tech I will be an excellent communicator and have exceptional follow-up capabilities. The Tech I will exhibit an ownership attitude.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Maintain a safe and clean work area. Demonstrate basic safe work practices based on company and customer policies and procedures.
Completes assigned work orders and documents completion within the CMMS. Completes repairs including rebuilding of pumps, steam traps, valves, electrical and pneumatic solenoid devices.
Responsible for accurate and timely paperwork related to essential duties and responsibilities.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education
(HS Diploma, Under/Graduate Degree, etc.)
HS Diploma or equivalent preferred or combination of experience and training.
Business Experience
(Prior years' work/related experience)
2 0r more years mechanical experience, including electrical, plumbing, carpentry required; or equivalent combination of training, education, and experience.
Licenses/Certifications
Valid driver's license, Fork truck operator's license, JLG operator's license

Work Environment
Work in an environment where the following safety equipment is needed; steel toe shoes, hearing protection, noise protection, hardhat, eye protection, and hand protection.
Abide by OSHA guidelines including lock-out/tag-out and HAZCOM guidelines and all other Company/Customer driven safety initiatives.
Hours of work are solely defined and governed by business volume and contract schedules.
Ability to handle stressful situations and remain calm in the face of the customer and subordinates
