Job Title: Field Service Technician
Job Description
The Field Service Technician is responsible for installing modular building components including cleanrooms and controlled-environment rooms, following detailed drawings and specifications. This role ensures that all installations meet quality standards and technical requirements, while maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Responsibilities
Install modular building components in accordance with drawings, specifications, and established installation methods.
Perform installation of cleanrooms and controlled-environment rooms while meeting quality standards and technical requirements.
Use tools, equipment, and materials in a safe, appropriate, and professional manner.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times on the job site.
Work closely with team members to ensure efficient and coordinated progress of the work.
Promptly report any anomaly, non-conformance, material shortage, or potential risk to the team lead or immediate supervisor.
Adapt to job-site constraints and required adjustments during execution.
Ensure the availability of clean, functional work clothing in sufficient quantity for the duration of travel and job sites.
Review and understand project information including location, schedule, constraints, and specific requirements.
Analyze and prepare project plans in advance to anticipate and address potential challenges.
Oversee and execute the assembly of cleanrooms and white rooms to meet the highest industry standards.
Manage on-site teams, coordinate workloads, and establish efficient work processes.
Ensure smooth collaboration among various teams and manage site shifts effectively.
Enforce and uphold safety protocols.
Address any issues on-site to maintain team harmony and productivity.
Motivate and organize teams, even under pressure.
Equally at ease with heavy-duty tasks and precise finishing work.
Interact with clients and deliver exceptional service.
Install custom products at customer facilities.
Use hand and power tools for installation.
Assemble sheet metal parts and perform mechanical assembly of components.
Work with assembly drawings and fabricate panels, moldings, and other metal components.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in electrical and mechanical assembly.
Experience with field service and mechanical installations.
Troubleshooting and repair skills.
Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
Experience with hand and power tools, and working with assembly drawings.
Ability to manage ambiguity and make independent decisions.
Leadership skills to manage and coordinate on-site teams.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.
Experience in construction, HVAC, and general labor.
Experience with wiring, hydraulics, and oscilloscope usage.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Greenville, SC.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $34.00/hr.
