Description:
We are searching for a Process Development Engineering Manager role near Easley, SC with an electronic manufacturing company.
As the Process Development Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for the following:
Establish a robust engineering operating cadence (daily/weekly/monthly) grounded in gemba presence, data review, and action tracking.
Define, track, and drive accountability for critical performance metrics, including:
FPY, yield, scrap, rework, Cp/Cpk and process capability, OEE and throughput, DPPM and escape rate, Cost savings and productivity
Own and continuously improve process control plans, PFMEAs, standard work, and work instructions to ensure stable and capable production.
Deploy SPC and advanced analytics to proactively detect drift, variability, and yield loss.
Lead structured root-cause and corrective action for process excursions and customer/internal escapes using 8D, A3, DMAIC, and 5-Why.
Drive sustained yield and capability improvements across critical processes, not just short-term fixes.
Qualifications:
BS in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Materials, Industrial, or related).
7+ years progressive experience in Process Engineering, Product Engineering, or Operations within electronics, semiconductor, or other high-reliability manufacturing.
Deep hands-on expertise with Lean / Six Sigma tools, including DOE, SPC, MSA/Gage R&R, PFMEA, Control Plans, and 8D.
