Join us this fall as a Supply Chain Operations Intern! You'll engage in vital supply chain operations, focusing on materials management (like forecasting, planning, and logistics) and sourcing (from strategic commodity management to supplier management). This internship is a fantastic opportunity to bridge your academic background with real-world experience and a stepping stone towards our Operations Management Leadership Program (OMLP) post-graduation.

Essential Responsibilities

As part of our Supply Chain team, you'll immerse yourself in an innovative and dynamic environment that prioritizes quality and efficiency. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Learning advanced manufacturing methods and techniques.
• Supporting manufacturing and repair processes for components and engine assembly.
• Upholding high quality standards through risk assessments and corrective actions.
• Ensuring a safe working environment through Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) initiatives.
• Applying Lean and Six Sigma principles to improve productivity and on-time delivery.
• Collaborating with suppliers to facilitate the delivery of sourced components while enhancing your project management and negotiation skills.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
• Currently enrolled in a full-time nationally accredited bachelor or graduate program in one of the accepted majors.
• Willingness to work at any of the 35+ GE Aerospace locations in the U.S.
• Reliable transportation, as public transport options may be limited at some sites.

Benefits:

This position offers a starting wage of $20/hour, with pay increasing based on your progress in your undergraduate studies. We also provide relocation support and housing assistance for those moving to a new location.
