The hourly range listed is an estimate. Cardinal Health determines pay based on multiple factors including geographical location, relevant education, experience, skills, and an evaluation of internal pay equity.

Work schedule for this role: 8:00 am - 4:30 pm (or until the work is complete), Monday to Friday. Overtime may be required based on business needs.

What Warehouse Operations contributes to Cardinal Health:
Our operations team is responsible for materials handling and product distribution in a dynamic distribution environment. This includes warehousing and fulfillment of materials and products, transportation, inventory management, as well as demand and supply planning.

Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently unload trucks in the Inbound section using a pallet jack or equivalent devices to move pallets.

  • Utilize the Manhattan Warehouse Management System to check in products, adhering to regulations for storing refrigerated items when required.

  • Store products in designated warehouse locations utilizing order picker or other devices.

  • Select products from warehouse locations and load them into outbound trucks.

Qualifications:

  • Frequently lift items up to 50 pounds.

  • Ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift, and remain standing for the entire shift.

  • Comfortable working at heights of 20-30 feet regularly.

  • High School diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience preferred.

  • Experience with material handling equipment (PIT) is preferred.

  • Prior experience with radio frequency (RF) scanners and/or voice picking highly preferred.

  • Willingness to work overtime with minimal notice.

  • Ability to follow directions and be adaptable to changing priorities, working both independently and as part of a team.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced warehouse environment while meeting performance standards.

  • Good verbal and written communication skills.

  • Eagerness to learn and operate material handling equipment and rotate through various areas of the warehouse.

  • Adhere to site safety regulations, including wearing required personal protective equipment such as steel-toed safety shoes and safety harnesses for material handling equipment. Committed to Cardinal Health's EHS and QRA policies and procedures.

  • Output is regularly reviewed by a lead or supervisor.

  • Refer complex or unusual problems to a supervisor.
