Position Overview:

Join our energetic team as a dedicated Server, where you will play a vital role in delivering outstanding dining experiences. Key Responsibilities:

• Warmly greet guests upon arrival, creating a welcoming atmosphere.
• Present menus and provide recommendations while addressing guest inquiries about menu items and dietary needs.
• Efficiently take and process orders using our point-of-sale (POS) system.
• Serve food and beverages promptly, following IHOP's high standards for presentation.
• Check in with guests during their meals to ensure satisfaction and proactively resolve any issues.
• Maintain a clean and organized dining environment, including tables and service stations.
• Work closely with kitchen staff and management to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
• Handle cash and credit card transactions with accuracy, following company policies.
• Adhere to all safety, sanitation, and health regulations to create a safe and clean atmosphere.
• Engage in training opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge in the food service industry.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience as a server or in customer service is preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, coupled with a friendly demeanor.
• Able to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math skills for processing payments effectively.
• At least 18 years old and able to obtain necessary permits or certifications.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and carry food trays for extended periods.
• Flexible schedule availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
