Description:

PGS Worldwide is seeking an Aircraft Strip/Plastic Media Blast Tech in Greenville, SC for a 6 month contract role supporting a leading aerospace & defense company. You will perform aircraft stripping using chemical and mechanical methods to remove old paint, coatings, and corrosion from aircraft surfaces. You will support surface preparation for repainting while following safety, environmental, and hazardous waste disposal requirements.

Required Skills

  • Paint and chemical (media blast) strip experience
  • Previous experience operating a Snorkel or Scissor Lift
  • Must be able to wear a respirator
  • Must be able to start 3/9/2026
What You'll Do
  • Strip aircraft surfaces using chemical and mechanical means
  • Remove old paint, coatings, and corrosion from aircraft surfaces
  • Mask sensitive areas prior to stripping activities
  • Apply stripping agents as required for coating removal
  • Power wash surfaces during the stripping process
  • Prepare metal surfaces for repainting
  • Dispose of hazardous waste in compliance with safety and environmental regulations
Work Schedule / Shift
  • Must be able to work 1st or 2nd shift
  • 1st shift: 5:30am-4pm
  • 2nd shift: 3:00p-1:30a
