THE IMPACT YOU CAN HAVE:

As a Senior Maintenance Technician at Ulta Beauty, you will play a critical role in maximizing the uptime of various material handling equipment to drive efficiency and productivity. Your diverse skill set will enable you to troubleshoot essential machinery, ensuring the smooth operation of our Distribution Center. As the Lead Mechanic, you'll provide guidance on repairs, delegate daily tasks, and serve as the primary liaison for Managers and Supervisors. • Maintaining industrial electrical systems: Installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting power distribution systems, branch circuits, lighting systems, transformers, and wiring methods.
• Managing Material Handling Systems: Working with conveyors, case erectors, and sortation equipment, including troubleshooting control components and PLC ladder logic.
• Caring for battery-powered equipment: Performing basic maintenance on brands like Raymond and Toyota.
• Maintaining building and grounds: Executing carpentry tasks and basic HVAC troubleshooting.
• General warehouse tasks: Completing various assigned duties to support operations.
• Using CMMS: Inputting information and ensuring paperwork completion by all associates at the end of shifts.

ESSENTIALS FOR SUCCESS:

Qualified candidates will hold HVAV repair certification and be licensed as an Electrician or Plumber, with 2-10+ years of experience in preventive maintenance and advanced knowledge of machinery specific to Ulta Beauty. Additional requirements include:

• A high school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
• Repair certification for powered equipment.
• Advanced knowledge of communication protocols such as profibus, modbus, and controlnet.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot all MHE peripherals.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work independently and within a team.
• Experience with safety procedures on equipment.
• Basic math skills for measurements and adjustments.
• Ability to understand written and oral instructions in English.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.
• Flexibility with daily task assignments.
• Safe lifting techniques for materials and equipment:
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds consistently.
• Ability to lift, bend, stand, and walk for 8 hours a day.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.

• Occasional work at heights.

• Dusty environment.
• Possible strong scents related to cosmetics or fragrances.
• May work in narrow aisles or trailers.
