Key Responsibilities:

• As the friendly face of Sprouts, you will process customer transactions efficiently and accurately while ensuring each guest feels valued.
• You will handle cash and credit/debit transactions, providing assistance and resolving customer inquiries or complaints with a positive attitude.
• Your role will also involve keeping checkout areas tidy and well-organized while assisting with stocking duties as needed.
• Stay informed about weekly promotions, store events, and product locations to guide customers effectively.
• Maintain open communication with the front end manager and Head Cashier to keep operations running smoothly.

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent, along with 1-2 years of recent cashier experience.
• Outgoing and approachable demeanor, with the ability to connect with customers.
• Competent in using front-end equipment such as cash registers, calculators, and scanners.
• Reliable with the flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Strong communication skills, a capacity for teamwork, and a willingness to accept feedback.
• Able to multitask effectively and stay organized while managing repetitive activities.
• Physical capability to lift/carry items up to 30 lbs and maneuver grocery carts as part of daily activities.
• Detail-oriented with strong numerical skills, cash handling proficiency, and the ability to read and write effectively.
