Responsibilities

As a Residential Maintenance Technician, your key tasks will include:

  • Troubleshooting and executing repairs across the apartment community, covering plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and electrical work, as well as installing new appliances when necessary.
  • Timely completion of resident service orders to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Assisting in maintaining the exterior of the property to uphold excellent curb appeal.
  • Adhering to all OSHA regulations and environmental, health, and safety laws.
  • Executing additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

To succeed as a Residential Maintenance Technician, you should possess:

  • At least 1 year of relevant experience.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Strong expertise in troubleshooting and repairing HVAC systems, with HVAC certification highly preferred.
  • Preferred certifications include EPA Type I & II.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • The ability to multitask, stay organized, and meet deadlines effectively.
  • A willingness to be on-call for after-hours emergencies.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • A valid driver's license may be required for this role.
