The Senior Design Specialist provides advanced technical drafting and design support with minimal supervision. This role is responsible for originating, interpreting, and producing engineering drawings, supporting complex engineering and construction projects, and mentoring junior designers. The position works closely with engineers and project teams to ensure accurate and compliant design execution. Responsibilities Demonstrate proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) and drafting applications to originate and produce engineering drawings with minimal supervision. Utilize 3 D modeling tools (S 3 D preferred) to support design development and execution. Read, interpret, and generate design drawings with minimal input from engineering staff. Lay out and interpret field systems with limited guidance, incorporating field direction into design documentation. Generate minor design details and create new drawings as required.
