1st Shift / Mon-Thu / 7am - 5:30pm (OT as needed)

PrideStaff - Greenville is seeking an energetic and mechanically inclined Assembly Technician on behalf of our growing client in the Fountain Inn area.

As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for building and disassembling various manufacturing products with limited oversight. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone who is detail-oriented and looking to grow their career in production.

Assembly Technician Primary Responsibilities include:
Your main responsibility is the efficient assembly and inspection of products, ensuring all manufacturing standards are met while maintaining a safe work area.

• Production & Assembly: Complete assembly and disassembly tasks across multiple product lines; ensure all work complies with established process standards and cycle times.
• Quality Assurance: Perform raw material inspections and preparation; conduct final testing and inspection tasks to ensure 100% product conformance.
• Workplace Maintenance: Participate in environmentally-appropriate maintenance habits, including 5S initiatives, to keep the facility organized.
• Safety Culture: Work safely within the requirements of assigned areas, consistently wearing required PPE and contributing to a proactive safety culture.
• Continuous Improvement: Assist the team in identifying ways to improve process efficiency and safety standards.

Assembly Technician Desired Skills and Experience include:

• Required Experience: Must have at least 2 years of experience in manufacturing assembly.
• Mechanical Aptitude: Strong ability to work with tools and a desire to build/assemble complex components.
• Physical Capability: Ability to lift 35 lbs consistently and stay active throughout a 10-hour shift.
• Attention to Detail: Proven ability to follow written process instructions and perform accurate quality inspections.
• Reliability: Ability to commit to a Monday-Thursday schedule with a focus on punctuality and a willingness to work overtime as needed.
• Coachability: A positive attitude with a desire to learn and advance into higher-level technician roles.
