Job Responsibilities

Essential functions of the position include:

  1. Following, complying, and enforcing all operational procedures/policies as stated in the employee Environmental Health and Safety programs (Magna and OSHA Standards).
  2. Driving forklift as needed and assisting with the storage, tagging, loading, and unloading of parts in production as well as shipping.
  3. Performing cycle counts or coordinating cycle counting activity.
  4. Ensuring that inventory transactions are performed correctly.
  5. Looking for efficient travel routes and strategic storage locations to minimize travel of the fork trucks.
  6. Ensuring all drivers are adhering to safe handling practices.
  7. Verifying all vehicle inspections are completed each day.
  8. Ensuring material is stacked safely in all storage areas.
  9. Making sure changeover racks are in side in sufficient time for the changeover.
  10. Performing analysis of inventory discrepancies and reporting them to management.
  11. Performing other duties as required.
Education and/or Experience (Required)
  • Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
  • 6 months experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • One to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.

Compensation

USD $27.65 - $30.63/hr.
