Contract Administrator (Remote)

Description:

The Contract Administrator oversees the systems, processes and flow of contracts across all business areas and credentialing of service provider partners. This individual will set up and maintain the flow of documents within contracting and credentialing software platforms. The Contract Administrator will ensure all necessary contract approvals are obtained and documented, contracts are stored in an organized fashion, and data fields within the contracting platform are complete and accurate. This person will be accountable to inform functional area contacts of milestone contract decision dates, influencing action when required. The Contract Administrator will facilitate the collection of credentialing documents, compare documents against company standards, and provide summary to a credentialing committee for vendor credentialing status determination. Additional Supply Chain and project support will be required as applicable.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Other duties may be assigned)

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement processes which permit the efficient flow and approvals of contracts.

  • Maintain an organized contract database, including agreements, supporting documentation, record of approvals, and complete and accurate contract summary data fields.

  • Provide timely notice to stakeholders of upcoming contract expirations and renewals. Ensure all contracts are actioned prior to required notice periods, escalating to senior leadership as needed.

  • Generate recurring and ad hoc contract reports which support tracking of renewal timelines, expirations, or evaluation of other contract terms.

  • Collaborates with finance to establish processes which validate that agreements are within budgetary guidelines prior to agreement signature.

  • Support upkeep of contract templates provided by legal and accessibility and ease of use of such templates for stakeholders. Build agreements utilizing preexisting templates.

  • Develop standard operating processes, training materials, and consult as appliable to encourage contract process compliance from business owners.

  • Engage with vendors to obtain status updates or support collection of documents as relevant.

  • Processes service provider vendors through credentialing process, which includes facilitating stakeholder review of any vendor deficiencies and final vendor approval or rejection.

  • Help identify and facilitate review DispatchHealth's credentialing standards, including hosting Credentialing Committee meetings as needed.

  • Identifies, establishes and maintains a software solution which supports overall credentialing process including vendor submission of required materials.

  • Performs other administrative and project support duties as required.

  • Provides outstanding customer service to our patients and their families, co-workers, and service provider partners.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Two years of experience of increasing scope and responsibility in a fast-paced environment.

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.

  • Healthcare industry experience preferred.

SKILLS/ABILITIES:

  • Solid understanding of the contracting function

  • Strategic thinking with the ability to connect dots between systems and operational processes

  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail

  • High level of service deliverability including multi-tasking, ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines and adapt to a dynamic environment

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, ensuring inclusivity of appropriate stakeholders.

  • Work autonomously – ability to take ownership of assigned responsibilities and work independently with minimal supervision

  • Computer literacy, including command of Microsoft Office applications with the ability to learn and administer a new software platform as needed. Familiarity with Smartsheet is a plus

  • Ability to demonstrate respect and professionalism for patients' rights and individual needs, including demonstrated ability to maintain HIPAA compliance and other confidentiality.

  • The salary range for this role is estimated to be $60,000 - $76,000.
