Applies instructional design theories and methods (ADDIE, SAM, Individualized instruction, Blooms Taxonomy, for example) and project management best practices.
Conducts needs assessments through research, discovery interviews, surveys, shadowing and focus groups.
Collaborates with stakeholders, regulatory team, SMEs, other external partners, learning and organizational development team, content developers, to provide creative learning events and curricula that enhance learning and increases performance.
Develops learning solutions, performance support and on-the-job experiences in a variety of learning modalities, including instructor-led, eLearning, interactive simulations, virtual learning, podcasts, tutorials, videos, etc., using various authoring tools.
Organizes information and develops instructional materials that transform complex, industry-related information into professionally written, easy to understand interactive courses and job aids.
Responsible for researching, discovering and implementing process/workflow improvement methodologies that ensure high-quality, efficient and cutting-edge learning technologies
Performs other duties as assigned.
Supervisory/Management Responsibilities
This is a non-management job that will report to a supervisor, manager, director or executive.
Minimum Requirements
Education - Master's degree in Computer Information Sciences, Business Management, Information Technology Sciences, Instructional Design Technology, or Training and Development
Experience - Three (3) years Information Technology Systems, Learning and Development field, adult learning theory.
In Lieu Of
In lieu of a Master's degree and three (3) years experience a Bachelor's degree with five (5) years of extensive instructional design experience may be considered.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Skill in adult education
Ability to stay abreast of emerging technology and learning
Knowledge of ADDIE, SAM, Kirkpatrick Model, looms Taxonomy and other learning, design, project management and evaluation methodologies.
Large scale project skills preferred
