Join our team as a Delivery Dispatcher, where you will play a crucial role in coordinating and overseeing the delivery schedules and operations for our hub store. Bilingual candidates are highly encouraged to apply!

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Act as the main contact for our delivery service.
• Receive orders from stores via phone or invoice, ensuring parts are ready for delivery by the scheduled time.
• Verify the accuracy of each order pulled before it is picked up for delivery.
• Maintain an organized and clean delivery area, designated with sections for each store.
• Ensure that delivery specialists are running on schedule, communicating any delays to the stores as needed.
• Continuously monitor and analyze delivery systems and routes to enhance efficiency and productivity while minimizing costs. Share your insights with the store manager.
• Ensure team members clock in and out according to company policy.
• Investigate any undelivered parts and adjust billing accordingly.
• Collaborate with the store manager to cover routes during delivery staff absences.
• Work together with the store manager and delivery specialists to ensure proper vehicle maintenance and inspections, logging daily mileage in asset management.
• Provide feedback to the store manager regarding delivery specialists' performance for evaluations.

SKILLS/EDUCATION/KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE/ABILITIES

Required:

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.

Desired:

• Knowledge of automotive parts.
• Ability to drive a manual transmission vehicle.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).
