KPMG is currently seeking a Director of Governance, Risk, & Compliance Services to join our Managed Services practice.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage multiple managed services projects effectively, coordinating both onshore and offshore teams; oversee resource allocation, budget management, and provide comprehensive client and administrative reporting.
  • Enhance KPMG's Managed Services solution framework, spearhead go-to-market strategies, and engage in cross-collaboration beyond GRC Managed Services for technical contributions to thought leadership.
  • Mentor and develop team members, deliver coaching, and prepare them for advanced roles through structured performance evaluations and feedback.
  • Oversee multiple MS projects, ensuring efficient support for GRC platforms including requirements gathering, incident management, and enhancement support.
  • Provide expert input for client risk registers and conduct regular risk assessments, serving as the senior contact for risk-related discussions, and manage compliance programs and regulatory standards.
  • Deliver insightful presentations to client executive leadership, showcasing key risks, control deficiencies, and progress in remediations, while cultivating strong relationships with operational teams and client leadership.
  • Uphold integrity, professionalism, and accountability to foster a respectful workplace environment.
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of ten years of recent experience in governance, risk, and compliance, with at least five years in a leadership capacity.
  • Degree in information technology, cybersecurity, business administration, or a related field.
  • Relevant professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, or equivalent are preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to create and grow GRC offerings within a managed services context.
  • Familiarity with audit testing, GRC platforms (e.g., Archer, ServiceNow, MetricStream), and knowledge of NIST, ISO, HIPAA, GDPR, and various IT frameworks.
  • Exceptional communication, problem-solving, analytical thinking, and independent judgment capabilities to foster customer service and teamwork; ability to influence, mentor, and serve as a trusted resource to less experienced team members.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary.
