Overview:
The Retail Media team at Trade School is one of our fastest growing business units. We're continuing to invest in building the most talented team to scale our Retail Media practice. Trade School is focused on the sell side of retail media networks; we have a passion to help retailers strategically build their media networks.

Our team is built to act as an extension to our client's Retail Media team, such as The Home Depot, to play a role in building a media network that's beneficial to their company and their advertiser partners. Our services include executive consultation, sales enablement, product marketing management, marketing & pr, monetization strategy and more.

The Account Executive, Retail Media is responsible for leading small to medium size jobs for the assigned client and/or project. The position requires excellent communication skills and attention to detail, along with the ability to learn from the integrated team what constitutes smart strategy and good work. AEs should have a solid understanding of basic marketing tactics, project management, and the way an agency works. They should demonstrate a desire to understand their clients' business and the agency profitability model.

This role will report directly to the Group Account Director, Retail Media at Trade School.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with internal and client teams to define project scopes & timelines
  • Demonstrate core project management experience including problem-solving, timeline and financial management, obsessive organization, and servant leadership
  • Manage a variety of projects from conception through delivery; keeping client and internal teams informed on project process and details
  • Responsible for mastering basic agency processes, developing positive client relationships and developing strong relationships with the integrated team
  • Responsible for sharing relevant industry and competitive updates
  • Establishing clear deliverables and timelines to ensure team alignment
  • Manage up to Supervisors and Group Account Director to keep leadership informed on important client and internal team updates
  • Demonstrate the ability to understand the client's business to evaluate work based on strategy and objectives
  • Earn and maintain a positive relationship with junior members of the client team to further agency partnership and execute tactical work
  • Master basics of agency and client processes within day-to-day workflow.
Desired Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree (BA or BS) required
  • Superb written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with different people and work styles
  • Experience executing administrative and tactical account work
  • 2-3 years experience in advertising, marketing or related field
  • Demonstrated success managing projects, schedules and client
  • Proven experience in thinking on your feet when presented with obstacles
  • Basic presentation skills
  • Ability to learn project management and reporting tools
