Job Summary: Position is responsible for supporting end users both onsite and remotely by deploying new equipment and software and performing preventative maintenance on existing equipment. The person should have in-depth technical knowledge of IT end user support.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ability to think strategically, manage time effectively, prioritize work according to severity.• Provide onsite/remote problem resolution for IT related hardware, software, and applications. • Resolve onsite/remote user-reported IT problems in a timely manner.• Install and maintain servers, desktops, and storage devices.• Provide ordering and coordination support for necessary onsite hardware and service requirements.• Provides training, troubleshooting, and support to network and communication system users.• Assist in configuration of desktops, laptops, and peripherals.• Coordinate IT related issues concerning infrastructure, applications, and business critical systems to appropriate resolution team.• Assist with automation projects from design and development through on-site installation and implementation.• Maintain automation systems software functionality and backup protocol.• Confer with engineers, production personnel, and maintenance to resolve automation issues.• Assist in the troubleshooting of PLC and robotic issues.• Create and maintain Power BI dataflows, datasets, and reports.• Assist in increasing automation and productivity for business processes through Microsoft Power Automate, PowerToys, and SharePoint
Required Qualifications:
• 3-5 years' experience in IT/IS related career field.• SAP experience preferred.• Associate degree is required. Bachelor's degree in computer science is preferred. Those who meet all other requirements with demonstrated experience in the field will be considered.
Physical Requirements:
• Able to address issues after normal business hours.• Routinely lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and depth perception.• Routinely reach with hands and arms to handle or feel.• Frequently required to stand and walk.• Occasionally required to sit, stoop, kneel, or crouch • Talk or hear.
