PrideStaff - Greenville is seeking a precise and conscientious Finishing Operator / Sandblast Prep Associate on behalf of our client in the Fountain Inn, SC area.
As a Finishing Operator / Sandblast Prep Associate, you will be responsible to prepare and finish parts using specialized hand tools and finishing equipment. The right candidate must be committed to precision, quality standards (QMS), and adherence to detailed technical instructions.

Finishing Operator / Sandblast Prep Associate Primary Responsibilities include:
Your main responsibility is the preparation and finishing of parts, ensuring adherence to technical specifications and quality requirements.

• Part Preparation & Finishing: Utilize air tools, Dremel tools, sanding blocks, or other hand-held devices to prepare and finish parts; operate finishing equipment according to production instructions.
• Loading & Handling: Load parts onto finishing tables for processing.
• Quality Control: Operate quality control devices according to instructions; understand and adhere to proper finishing techniques to parts.
• Equipment Maintenance: Maintain finishing tables and equipment by following instructions for adjustments, cleaning, and setting proper pressures.
• Instruction Adherence: Conduct oneself according to the verbal and written instructions given by Production and Quality Departments, and Internal policies and standards.
• Documentation & Compliance: Fill out travelers accurately, completely, and timely for all parts processed; read and follow technical instructions in travelers; support and follow QMS guidelines and directions.

Finishing Operator / Sandblast Prep Associate Desired Skills and Experience include:

• 1 or more years of manufacturing precision work with hand tools.
• Very precise and can follow detailed verbal and written instructions; attention to detail is critical.
• Understands and uses caliper, micrometer, scale, calculator, and various other measuring devices.
• Comprehends technical drawings and can write numbers in proper units of measure.
• Practices proper safety guidelines and wears appropriate Personal Protection Equipment (PPE).
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to bend, twist, climb, stoop, or stand for extended periods.
• Ability to spend time sitting at a desk or workstation as needed.
• Dependability & Attendance is an essential function.
