Description:

The Fountain Group is currently seeking a HEOR Researcher for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in New York, NY. Details for the position are as follows:

Job Description:

  • Plan, conduct, and manage HEOR and RWE studies, including:
    • Database analyses using administrative claims and electronic medical records (EMR/EHR)
    • Observational study designs (prospective studies, chart reviews, and other non-interventional methodologies)
  • Support development and implementation of patient-reported outcomes (PRO) strategies in clinical trials
  • Conduct targeted literature reviews and evidence synthesis to support value dossiers and internal decision-making
  • Assist with cost-effectiveness analyses and health economic modeling
  • Develop clear, data-driven presentations and reports using PowerPoint and Excel
  • Support project and vendor management, including timelines and budget tracking
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (Clinical, Medical Affairs, Market Access, Biostatistics
Qualifications:
  • Advanced degree (MS, MPH, PharmD, PhD, or equivalent) in health services research, health economics, public health, epidemiology, pharmacy, health policy, or a related field
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects with competing priorities in a fast-paced, matrixed environment
  • Demonstrated collaborative mindset and strong stakeholder engagement skill
Preferred Skills & Experience
  • 1-2 years of post-graduate experience in HEOR, RWE, health economics, outcomes research, or related pharmaceutical/biotech or consulting environment
  • Hands-on experience with real-world data sources (claims databases, EMR/EHR data)
  • Familiarity with observational study design and non-interventional research methods
  • Working knowledge of cost-effectiveness analysis and economic modeling concepts
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis and executive-level reporting
  • Experience supporting vendors, budgets, and project timelines
  • Exposure to PRO strategy development and clinical trial support is a strong plus
