Business Analyst Opportunity

We are looking for a detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our team in Greenville, South Carolina. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring financial compliance and optimizing project cash flow for construction-related projects. This is a long-term contract position offering the opportunity to collaborate across departments and contribute to the success of client engagements.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and ensure compliance with financial terms and conditions outlined in client contracts.
  • Generate accurate monthly rental invoices and ensure timely submission to clients.
  • Process invoices for reimbursable items, including labor, freight, tools, and other project-related costs, following contractual agreements.
  • Manage project cash flow by issuing timely invoices and overseeing accounts receivable collection.
  • Work closely with the accounting team to establish and maintain project cost codes.
  • Coordinate audit requirements and ensure reconciliation of general ledger accounts, including subsidiary ledgers.
  • Maintain attendance and punctuality standards while meeting project deadlines.
  • Prepare variance analysis reports, explaining significant changes in financial data.
  • Ensure proper document and data retention practices to comply with contracts and statutory guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in financial management, analysis, or related roles.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to support decision-making processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for effective collaboration.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant business software.
  • Familiarity with business analysis practices, including gap analysis and Agile Scrum methodologies.
  • Ability to travel occasionally for business purposes.
  • Commitment to professionalism and adherence to organizational policies.
