Were looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Housekeeping Supervisor to lead our housekeeping team and ensure our guests enjoy a clean, welcoming environment./ppOverview:/ppThe Housekeeping Supervisor directly supervises and coordinates work activities of the Housekeeping staff in hotel./ppKey Duties Responsibilities:/polliResolve guest complaints, ensuring guest satisfaction./liliMonitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of assigned work areas./liliMaintain complete knowledge at all times of: Verify room status on A.M. report; report discrepant rooms; prioritize and update status of check-out rooms./liliEnsure that assigned staff have reported to work; document any late or absent employees./liliCoordinate breaks for assigned staff. Prepare and distribute assignment sheets to assigned staff and review priorities./liliAssign designated guest room keys and beepers to assigned staff./liliMaintain accurate record of such and ensure security of keys./liliCommunicate additions or changes to the assignment sheets as they arise throughout the shift./liliInspect supply levels of floor closets./liliAssign designated personnel to rectify any deficiencies./liliCheck Room Attendants carts for proper supplies, neatness, cleanliness and mechanical problems./liliInspect rooms cleaned by assigned Room Attendants, using designated checklist./liliDirectly contact Room Attendant and relay any deficiencies to be corrected./liliUpdate room status after approving cleanliness and condition in accordance with departmental standards./liliCheck vacant rooms, verify status and update status of discrepant rooms throughout the shift./liliCheck DND rooms and verify status./liliMark dirty sheets of randomly selected assigned rooms and follow up to ensure Room Attendants have changed bed sheets./liliCounsel Room Attendants on any discrepancies./liliInspect public areas/bathrooms, fitness center, pool area, offices and service areas after being cleaned by Floor/Lobby Attendants, using designated checklists./liliDirectly contact respective personnel and relay any deficiencies to be corrected./liliComplete work orders for maintenance repairs and submit to Housekeeping Clerk./liliContact Engineering directly for urgent repairs./liliConduct training of staff as assigned./liliProvide feedback on staff performance to manager./liliReport disciplinary problems to manager and participate in the counseling of employees./liliDocument pertinent information in department log book./liliComplete all paperwork and closing duties before leaving./liliReview status of assignments and any follow-up action with manager and/or on-coming supervisor./liliCheck P.M. reports for accuracy and completeness./liliComplete night counts in accordance with departmental standards./li/olpEducation and Experience:/pulliHigh School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)./liliSix months to one year related supervisory experience./li/ulpCrestline Hotels Resorts is an Equal Opportunity Employer/Affirmative Action Employer.
