Additionally, this role will contribute to building Nissan brand value and achieving enduring profitable growth./ppJob Responsibilities:/pulliReceive incoming items by opening crates and other containers using hand tools./liliVerify, sort and move contents to specified area for distribution./liliStock material and mark with identifying information./liliLocate parts/accessories specified on shipping label: load and move to sorting and shipping area./liliPrepare orders for shipment: verify, pack, label and move to loading location./liliUtilize handheld scanner and on-board monitor./liliOperate hand truck or powered truck as necessary./liliEnsure compliance with all safety policies and practices./liliMaintain cleanliness and organization based on 5S standards./liliParticipate in management efforts towards process improvements./li/ulpWarehouse Operator Qualifications:/pulliHigh school diploma or equivalent/liliMinimum 1+ years experience or related warehouse experience (receiving/stock-keeping or picking/packing)/liliAbility to read and follow detailed instructions/liliAbility to verify multi-digit part numbers/liliAbility to use computer to look up information utilizing Nissans Warehouse Management System (WMS)/liliAbility to physically perform all tasks listed in job functions, which may involve continuous use of mechanical controls requiring repetitive hand/arm motion and lifting up to 50 lbs./li/ulpPreferred Qualifications:/pulliForklift (HiLo) or stand-up reach truck experience/li/ulpJoin a company thats leading the technology and business evolution of the automotive industry by applying today./ppNissan is committed to a drug-free workplace.
